Legal Internship & Graduate Trainee Opportunity at Areness (Final Law Students)

Areness is inviting applications for its Legal Internship and Graduate Traineeship program. This is a unique opportunity to engage with real-world legal challenges, work with prestigious clients, and immerse yourself in a culture that fosters transformative leadership.

Core Responsibilities

As a trainee or intern, you will be integrated into our core operations, handling tasks that build foundational expertise:

  • Comprehensive Legal Research: Conduct in-depth research to support senior attorneys and stay abreast of evolving laws, regulations, and judicial precedents.
  • Drafting & Documentation: Assist in preparing high-quality legal documents, contracts, and agreements, ensuring strict compliance with legal standards.
  • Litigation Support: Attend court proceedings and hearings to gain first-hand exposure to judicial processes.
  • Case Strategy & Analysis: Analyze intricate legal issues and contribute actionable recommendations to develop robust case strategies.

Eligibility Criteria

We are looking for academically driven individuals who meet the following requirements:

  • Academic Record: A minimum academic score of 7 (CGPA/Percentage equivalent).
  • Educational Background: Students in their final semester of LLB, LLM, BA LLB, BBA LLB, or B.Com LLB.
  • Consistency: Candidates must have passed all previous semesters without backlogs.

Terms and Conditions

  • Location: Candidates may be posted at our Delhi or Gurugram offices (subject to transfer based on management requirements).
  • Equipment: Individuals are expected to use their personal laptops for the duration of the tenure, ensuring they meet the firm’s IT security standards.
  • Career Progression (Absorption): Upon successful completion of the Traineeship, exceptional performers may be considered for a permanent Associate position at Areness.
  • Notice Period: The tenure can be concluded mutually or by serving a 7-day notice period.
  • Offer Validity: Selected candidates must accept the offer within two (2) days, failing which the offer will be automatically withdrawn.

Selection Process

  1. Application Scrutiny: Initial screening based on internal firm policies.
  2. HR Interview: Virtual rounds for shortlisted candidates.
  3. Final Interview: Successful candidates will proceed to a final interview with the Team Lead.
  4. Communication: Results will be communicated directly to the respective TPO/Placement Committees via email.
