IP Manager – EVA Pharma (Europe)

Role Summary

The Europe IP Manager leads and executes intellectual property (IP) strategy across European markets, supporting B2B pharmaceutical growth, licensing, partnerships, and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage European IP strategy, including patent filings, prosecution, renewals, oppositions, and portfolio analysis.
  • Conduct patent landscape reviews, invalidation studies, and competitor monitoring.
  • Support business development in deal evaluation, due diligence, contract negotiation, and product development.
  • Advise on exclusivity, territory rights, field-of-use, and early market IP strategies.
  • Review and negotiate IP clauses in licensing, distribution, supply, and confidentiality agreements.
  • Conduct Freedom to Operate (FTO) analysis and manage infringement risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with BD, Legal, Regulatory, R&D, and external IP counsels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related field.
  • 10+ years of IP management experience in pharma or life sciences.
  • Strong expertise in European IP law and patent portfolio management.
  • Proven experience in B2B pharmaceutical licensing, distribution, and strategic partnerships.
  • Strategic mindset with strong execution and stakeholder communication skills.
