About the Role
As a Legal and Compliance Assistant, you will act as the primary legal support for US-based business units. Your work will bridge the gap between Indian operations and US legal standards, focusing heavily on contract lifecycle management and risk assessment within the IT/SaaS sector.
Eligibility
- Education: LL.B. degree.
- Academic Record: 85% and above in 10th and 12th Board exams.
- Experience: 2–3 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Niche Expertise: Prior exposure to US clients, US contracts, and IT/SaaS compliance is mandatory.
Requirements
- Contract Management: Expertise in drafting and negotiating NDAs, MSAs, SLAs, and Vendor contracts.
- US Standards: Deep understanding of US legal standards and corporate filings.
- Risk Assessment: Ability to analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to identify legal risks.
- Process Oriented: Experience in maintaining centralized legal repositories and version control.
- Communication: Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills for cross-cultural collaboration.
- Tools: Proficiency in e-Signature platforms and Document Management Systems.
