OYO Hiring Legal Counsel (6–9 Years Exp)

Overview

OYO is expanding its legal department and is looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to manage its extensive portfolio of commercial contracts. This is a high-impact role requiring a blend of technical legal drafting and strategic commercial negotiation.

About the Role

The selected candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end contracting lifecycle. Key responsibilities include:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex agreements (Lease, MSA, Buy-Sell, Revenue Sharing, and Vendor Contracts).
  • Developing and maintaining standardized contract templates.
  • Ensuring all legal documents align with commercial objectives while mitigating organizational risk.
  • Advising internal stakeholders on risk-mitigated legal solutions.

Eligibility

  • Experience: 6–9 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).

  • Education: Degree in Law from a recognized university.

  • Strong expertise in Commercial Laws.
  • Proven ability to independently manage end-to-end contracting.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interface with stakeholders.
