Overview
OYO is expanding its legal department and is looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to manage its extensive portfolio of commercial contracts. This is a high-impact role requiring a blend of technical legal drafting and strategic commercial negotiation.
About the Role
The selected candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end contracting lifecycle. Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex agreements (Lease, MSA, Buy-Sell, Revenue Sharing, and Vendor Contracts).
- Developing and maintaining standardized contract templates.
- Ensuring all legal documents align with commercial objectives while mitigating organizational risk.
- Advising internal stakeholders on risk-mitigated legal solutions.

Eligibility
- Experience: 6–9 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Sector Expertise: Prior experience in real estate, hospitality, or platform-based businesses is highly preferred.
- Education: Degree in Law from a recognized university.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Commercial Laws.
- Proven ability to independently manage end-to-end contracting.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interface with stakeholders.
