Overview

SG Law Office is looking for dynamic interns to support their legal team in Kolkata. As an intern, you will be exposed to diverse practice areas, ranging from maritime law to corporate insolvency, providing a comprehensive look into the workings of a multi-city law firm.

About the Role

Interns will be expected to assist with:

• Legal research on ongoing litigation and advisory matters.
• Drafting legal documents, petitions, and commercial contracts.
• Assisting in matters related to the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code, 2016.
• Attending court proceedings and arbitration sessions.
• Supporting the team in Admiralty, Real Estate, and Commodity Trading disputes.

Eligibility

• Candidates pursuing a 3-year or 5-year LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
• Available to intern full-time during the months of April and May 2026.
• Strong interest in Litigation and Corporate Law.

Requirements

• Excellent legal research and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Basic understanding of the Indian legal system and procedural laws.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
