The Department of Legal Affairs (DLA) is inviting applications for its monthly Internship Programme. This initiative is designed to acquaint young law students and graduates with the inner workings of the Ministry through high-level research and exposure to diverse legal fields.

Selected interns will receive training and work in specialized fields including:

  • Research & Referencing: Assisting in legal research and referencing work.
  • Legal Advice: Tendering advice in areas such as Constitutional, Administrative, Finance, Infrastructure, Economic, Labor, Arbitration, and Contract Law.
  • Court Functioning: Gaining exposure to the functioning of various courts.
  • Reporting: Submitting a monthly research report at the end of the program to Admin-1(LA).

โœ… Mandatory Requirements & Code of Conduct

  • Attendance: 90% attendance is mandatory to receive a certificate.
  • Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (Physical attendance is required).
  • Equipment: Interns must bring their own laptop and internet connectivity.
  • Dress Code: Formal black trousers with a white shirt; blazers are required for winters.
  • Confidentiality: Interns must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and follow strict secrecy protocols.

  2. Documents Required:
    • Students: Must upload a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective College/University.
    • Graduates: Must upload their final year certificate (NOC is not required).
