In this role, you will serve as a trusted legal partner to the Americas business, advising on a diverse range of commercial, marketing, employment, real estate, corporate, and dispute-related matters. Job Overview

Your Mission & Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Lead, Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for driving practical legal solutions that align with both global priorities and regional requirements. Your primary duties will include:

  • Strategic Advisory: Advise the Americas regional team and senior leadership on broad legal and commercial matters.
  • Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of commercial agreements (sales, distribution, marketing, influencer, production, agency, venue, and event agreements).
  • Corporate & Growth Support: Assist with real estate portfolios, retail expansion, and corporate matters across the region.
  • Brand & Marketing Alignment: Partner with the marketing team on brand campaigns, consumer-facing initiatives, sponsorships, and events.
  • Employment & Privacy: Collaborate with the Talent team on employment law and coordinate regional data privacy/protection strategies with the global legal team.
  • Litigation & Scale: Oversee regional disputes, manage external counsel, and build scalable legal processes, playbooks, and training modules.

Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications (Your Story)

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Education & Experience: A professional Law degree with 8+ years of post-qualification legal experience (PQE), including substantial in-house experience. (Experience at a global consumer-facing product company is preferred).
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong business judgment with the ability to balance legal risks against commercial objectives.
  • Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
  • Adaptability: Proven track record of operating independently, prioritizing effectively, and tackling unfamiliar legal or business domains under high-pressure scenarios.
  • Process-Driven: A process-minded and curious professional with a history of optimizing legal workflows.
