Corporate Paralegal position based in Lakewood, New Jersey. This full-time, remote/hybrid role offers a chance to work closely with executive leadership, supporting major business entities including Public Knowledge® (PK) and Bulletproof Solutions Inc. (BP).
Job Overview
- Position: Corporate Paralegal
- Location: Lakewood, NJ (Remote/Hybrid – 1 day per week required in-office)
- Employment Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 40+ hours/week)
- Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years
- Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
- Travel: Minimal to no travel involved
Key Responsibilities & Duties
1. Contract & Legal Support
- Review, track, and organize vendor agreements, client contracts, NDAs, and amendments.
- Monitor contract compliance, renewal deadlines, obligations, and notice requirements.
- Maintain the company’s centralized contract repository and digital tracking systems.
- Conduct legal research and draft routine legal correspondence for leadership.
2. Corporate Transactions & Acquisitions
- Assist with administrative and legal tasks for acquisitions, including disclosure schedules, assignment documents, and closing checklists.
- Track post-closing corporate obligations and ensure timely completion of required filings or notices.
- Coordinate workflows between internal stakeholders and external legal advisors.
3. Compliance & Administration
- Manage and track state registrations, regulatory business filings, and corporate records across multiple jurisdictions.
- Integrate legal considerations into business processes by collaborating with HR, Accounting, and Operations.
- Maintain highly organized legal files in accordance with compliance policies.
Eligibility Criteria & Skills Required
- Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of proven experience as a Corporate Paralegal.
- Certification: Professional Paralegal Certification is required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred; Notary Public status is a plus.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).
- Legal Knowledge: Deep understanding of legal/administrative contract requirements, legal publications, and procedures for extracting information.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written English communication skills with high attention to detail and quality.
