Detailed Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

  • Degree: Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B / B.L) from a recognized Indian University.
  • Minimum Marks:
    • General / UR Candidates: First Class
    • PwBD Candidates: Pass Class
  • Note: Candidates with CGPA/Credits must submit the conversion formula to percentage as per University norms.

2. Age Limit (as on 01.07.2026)

  • Upper Age Limit: 25 years for UR category.
  • Age Relaxation:
    • PwBD (min 40% disability): 10 years relaxation.
    • Ex-Servicemen: As per Government guidelines.

Salary and Remuneration

The selected candidate will be inducted into the E-II Grade pay scale of ₹40,000 – ₹1,40,000/-. In addition to the basic pay, the compensation package includes:

  • Dearness Allowance (DA)
  • House Rent Allowance (HRA)
  • Perquisites (35% of Annual Basic Pay)
  • Performance Related Pay (PRP)

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be based on a two-stage process:

  1. Written Test (85 Marks weightage) — Held exclusively in Bengaluru.
  2. Interview (15 Marks weightage) — Candidates will be shortlisted in a 1:5 ratio based on Written Test performance.

Minimum Qualifying Marks: 35% for General candidates and 30% for PwBD candidates in both Written Test and Interview separately.
