Lex Chambers is looking to hire a dedicated Legal Counsel to join their Real Estate team in their New Delhi office.

Key Qualifications

  • Due Diligence Expertise: Experience in drafting and conducting due diligence with respect to immovable properties located across India (including agricultural, commercial, and residential properties).
  • Property Law Knowledge: Sound understanding of property laws, land records (Jamabandi, 7/12, Khatauni, etc.), and real estate transactions.
  • Construction & Regulatory Compliance: Strong knowledge of pre- and post-construction documents, including Sanctioned Building Plans, Licenses, high-rise building approvals, and RERA.
  • Drafting & Negotiation: Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating real estate transaction documents, including Lease Deeds, Leave and License Agreements, Agreements to Sell, Sale Deeds, Conveyance Deeds, and other property-related documents.
