Key Responsibilities

As a Legal Intern at Kapture CX, you will work closely with senior legal professionals and manage core corporate legal tasks:

  • Legal Research: Conduct precise legal research and regulatory analysis on corporate and contractual matters.
  • Drafting & Reviewing: Draft, review, and organize legal documents, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), vendor contracts, and official correspondence.
  • Contract Management: Use modern contract management tools to compile, maintain, and audit legal records.
  • Administrative Support: Assist the legal department with day-to-day corporate compliance and ad-hoc operational tasks.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

Basic Criteria

  • Education: Final-year LLB student or a recent law graduate.
  • Legal Knowledge: Solid grasp of key legal principles, particularly the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
  • Contract Analysis: Ability to review, analyze, and spot risks in NDAs and standard commercial contracts.
  • Confidentiality: High standard of professional integrity when handling sensitive corporate data.

Critical Skills Needed

  • Legal Drafting & Research: Strong analytical abilities with clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Tech Proficiency: Mastery of Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic document management tools.
  • Autonomy & Collaboration: Capability to manage tasks independently while working effectively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points)

  • Prior internship experience in an in-house legal department or a corporate law firm.
  • Familiarity with SaaS, technology, software licensing, or startup legal operations.
  • Practical experience using legal tech or contract lifecycle management (CLM) software.
