About the Role
FourFold Legal is on a mission to establish a trusted legal news platform in India, aiming to make legal news accurate, unbiased, and accessible to every citizen—from local district court matters to Supreme Court proceedings.
As the Founding Legal Journalist & Media Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the platform’s media division from the ground up, producing high-impact legal stories, and managing nationwide legal coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Media Division Leadership: Build, structure, and direct FourFold Legal’s legal media division from day one.
- National Legal Reporting: Cover significant legal developments across Indian courts, from district levels to the Supreme Court.
- Team Management: Recruit, mentor, and network with nationwide correspondents, news anchors, and legal researchers.
- Multimedia Content Creation: Produce compelling legal news reports, video explainers, podcasts, and legal documentaries.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Graduate in Law (LL.B.) or Journalism / Mass Communication.
- Experience: 2–3 years in digital media, legal reporting, or traditional journalism.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent spoken and written Hindi (mandatory) alongside strong English communication skills.
- Key Skills: In-depth legal research, on-the-ground reporting, interviewing techniques, and narrative storytelling.
- Mindset: Entrepreneurial drive, leadership ability, and a proactive approach.
