About the Role

Reporting directly to the Lead Senior Counsel for AP (Asia Pacific), the Associate will support the GCT for the EU & META regions. You will be the backbone of the contract lifecycle, ensuring that approvals, signatures, metadata accuracy, and system activations are executed flawlessly.

This role sits at the intersection of law, business, and technology—making it perfect for someone who excels at stakeholder management, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

As an Associate on the Global Contracts Team, your day-to-day operations will include:

  • Workflow & Approvals: Preparing contract summaries, managing CLM approval workflows, and tracking pending authorizations.
  • Execution Management: Managing the DocuSign process, confirming signatories, and ensuring the timely execution of all agreements.
  • CLM Upload & Activation: Uploading executed agreements into the CLM system, validating documentation, and officially activating contracts.
  • Metadata & Risk Reporting: Conducting quality checks on system-generated metadata to ensure 100% accuracy for risk assessments and legal reporting.
  • Query & Inbox Handling: Acting as the primary point of contact for the Legal COE Support inbox, triaging contract-related requests promptly.
  • Process Optimization: Identifying compliance gaps, recommending operational improvements, and ensuring all records remain audit-ready.

Qualifications & Requirements

To qualify for this role, Lenovo is looking for candidates with the following profile:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required (A Law degree is highly preferred).
  • Experience: 1 to 4 years of experience in contracts, legal operations, or administrative legal workflows.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools and DocuSign.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, strict attention to detail, and top-tier communication abilities.
  • Work Style: Proven ability to collaborate with global teams and adhere to structured corporate processes.
