About the Opportunity Cipla is seeking an experienced legal professional to join its TechOps division in Lower Parel. The position focuses on executing legal operations, independently managing end-to-end commercial agreements, and providing strategic advisory support to cross-functional teams within the pharmaceutical sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, and finalize a high volume of commercial documents, including confidentiality, service, software, and procurement agreements.
- Provide day-to-day legal advisory to TechOps departments, ensuring all operations comply with prevalent laws and Cipla standards.
- Conduct extensive legal research on pharmaceutical industry regulations to identify commercial risks and propose effective mitigation strategies.
- Guide junior team members in interpreting contract documents, resolving legal issues, and drafting advisory opinions.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Manufacturing, IT, Finance/Tax, Logistics) and external counsel to drive the timely execution of complex transactions.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: LLB required; LLM is preferred.
- Experience: 5 to 7 years of total legal experience.
- Industry Knowledge: Prior legal experience within the pharmaceutical industry is highly preferred.
