| Contract Drafting & Negotiation | Draft, review, negotiate and finalize supply, procurement, manufacturing, distribution, tech transfer, clinical trial, licensing, collaboration, vendor and customer contracts, NDAs and service agreements. Banking and M&A agreements are optional. Lead negotiations with domestic and international counterparties and maintain contract templates and playbooks. |
| Legal Risk Management | Assess contractual, commercial and regulatory risks. Advise on liability, indemnities, warranties, limitation of liability, IP and dispute resolution clauses. Escalate significant risks to senior management. |
| Stakeholder Support | Work with Procurement, Commercial, Manufacturing, R&D, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Finance and Supply Chain teams. Support vendor selection, tendering and commercial negotiations. |
| Compliance & Governance | Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws and industry standards. Support contract approval processes, maintain contract records and assist in audits. |
| Process Improvement | Improve contract lifecycle management, train business teams and track legal developments in pharma contracting. |
