Canford Law is hiring a Litigation Executive / Legal Executive to join its Credit Hire team in Manchester. The role involves managing a personal caseload of Credit Hire and RTA litigation matters, handling cases from pre-litigation to trial, and guiding clients through the legal process. Candidates should have strong litigation experience, excellent client communication skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a legal team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Credit Hire and RTA litigation caseloads.
- Prepare cases, draft pleadings, and handle court proceedings.
- Negotiate settlements and coordinate with counsel when required.
- Maintain records using case management systems.
- Provide regular updates and legal guidance to clients.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in Credit Hire or litigation matters.
- Strong legal drafting, negotiation, and case management skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Preferred
- Experience with litigation budgeting and legal case systems.
- Paralegal, CILEX membership, or similar legal qualification.
