Revantage is seeking an experienced legal professional to join its APAC Legal & Compliance team in Bengaluru. Operating in a hybrid work model, this role supports Blackstone’s APAC real estate portfolio by delivering high-level commercial advice, transaction execution governance, and legal operational support across regional jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Legal Advisory & Commercial Contracting

  • Advise on property, leasing, and commercial matters across APAC, covering retail and residential tenancy regulations, FIRB, construction, WHS, and privacy laws.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate consultancy contracts, procurement agreements, service agreements, and complex lease/licence documentation.
  • Handle dispute resolution, draft letters of demand, and formulate risk mitigation and settlement strategies.
  • Support real estate asset disposals, acquisitions, and closing settlements.

2. Document Execution & Corporate Governance

  • Oversee end-to-end document review, approval, and digital execution workflows via DocuSign.
  • Perform corporate searches, public registers checks, and due diligence via ASIC, DDIQ, and Dye & Durham platforms.
  • Draft, execute, and register Powers of Attorney in compliance with corporate governance standards (including Sections 126 and 127 of the Corporations Act).
  • Maintain contract registers, physical/digital legal repositories, and asset security audits.

3. Legal Operations & Process Optimization

  • Formulate and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), contract templates, and legal precedent databases.
  • Manage vendor relationships with legal search engines, platforms, and external service providers.
  • Support cross-border legal tech adoption and regional legal operations projects.

Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications

Educational & Professional Background

  • Degree: Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • Experience: 4+ years of total legal experience with at least 2+ years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in a law firm or corporate legal department.
  • Industry Focus: Prior experience in the Real Estate, Infrastructure, or Hospitality sectors. Familiarity with Australian commercial and corporate laws is strongly preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, DocuSign, contract lifecycle management tools, and legal AI platforms.
  • Communication & Management: Strong written and verbal English communication skills, high attention to detail, and ability to manage tight APAC-wide deadlines.
  • Collaboration: Capacity to work autonomously while coordinating smoothly with teams across Bengaluru, Gurugram, Singapore, and Australia.
