Role Overview
- Position: Legal Executive
- Department: Corporate Legal Team
- Experience: 1–3 Years PQE (Freshers with relevant internship experience may apply)
- Qualification: LL.B. or LL.M. from a recognized university
- Industry Focus: Software / SaaS / IT / Tech Law
- Location: Mumbai
Key Responsibilities
- Contract Management: Draft, negotiate, and redline commercial agreements (NDAs, MSAs, SaaS, SOWs, DPAs) across global jurisdictions.
- Procurement & RFP Support: Evaluate legal and compliance terms in RFPs, RFQs, and client procurement documentation.
- Advisory & Research: Provide guidance on international law, tech regulations, data privacy, e-commerce, and intellectual property.
- AI & Product Governance: Assess AI solutions and software products to map legal compliance frameworks and controls.
- Legal AI Operations: Assist with internal legal AI tools, refine prompt libraries, validate AI outputs, and streamline automation.
- Corporate Secretarial & Compliance: Partner with external advisors on statutory compliance and secretarial tasks.
- Training & Playbooks: Create playbooks and conduct legal training sessions on employment laws, contracting, and data privacy for global business teams.
- Regulatory Tracking: Monitor changing global laws and recommend proactive compliance measures.
Eligibility & Experience Criteria
- Education: LL.B. or LL.M. degree.
- Experience: 1–3 years PQE in SaaS, IT, tech legal teams, or specialized law firms. Freshers with relevant legal internships are eligible.
- Domain Focus: Background in commercial contracting, technology law, IP, or data privacy.
- Tech-Savviness: Keen interest in Generative AI, legal tech, and AI governance.
- Global Exposure: Experience supporting multi-jurisdictional teams is preferred.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Expertise in commercial law, tech law, IP, data privacy, and global contracting rules.
- Hands-on proficiency with Generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) for research, drafting, and prompt engineering.
- Strong legal research, analytical, and risk-assessment capabilities.
- Clear written and verbal communication to simplify legal concepts for cross-functional teams.
