As a Senior Legal Associate, you will serve as a key driver of Kapture CX’s legal and compliance framework. You will take ownership of commercial contracts, enterprise-level negotiations, risk mitigation, and compliance initiatives while collaborating directly with cross-functional leadership and business teams in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Contracting: Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements, including SaaS contracts, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), vendor agreements, and strategic partner contracts.
- Complex Enterprise Negotiations: Independently handle contractual discussions focused on limitation of liability, indemnity, privacy, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, finance, HR, business, and executive leadership teams to deliver strategic, practical legal advisory that enables commercial growth.
- External Counsel & Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with external legal counsel and lead sensitive, high-stakes conversations with maturity and composure.
- Process & Governance Optimization: Drive continuous enhancements to internal legal frameworks, information security policies, governance protocols, and compliance standards across the organization.
Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
Basic Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in legal contracting, commercial legal operations, or corporate legal roles.
- Solid prior exposure to SaaS, tech-first, or product-based organizations.
- Proven ability to independently handle enterprise customer negotiations with minimal oversight.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior executive teams.
Preferred Skills & Advantages
- Strong expertise in commercial contracting, DPAs, and global compliance frameworks.
- Experience in high-growth SaaS or AI-led business environments.
- Exposure to information security, data privacy frameworks, or HR legal matters.
